Keep Your Coffee Flowing
Whether you use a Keurig or another brand of single-serve coffee maker that uses K-cups, regular cleaning is needed to keep the appliance working properly. Minerals in your water will build up inside the machine and restrict the water flow. If you start noticing that you are not getting full cups of coffee, it is definitely time to clean your brewing machine.
Coffee from the K-cups can also clog the very sharp hollow needles that puncture the tops of the cups, so you might be able to do a quick fix using a push pin or unfolded paperclip to carefully clean the tubes.
